I'm forever on the quest for the perfect mascara. If you didn't know, I'm a mascara addict!! As a blonde with naturally thin, short, basically invisible lashes, I NEED something to make them stand out. I'm also broke ass cheep right now and got the cheepest mascara I could find at the drugstore.
Rimmel London claims this product "builds lashes from natural to dramatic by thickening and lengthening lashes coat after coat".
I paid $3.99 for this sucker in "black black" and these are my results.
Before mascara, fresh bare lashes
After mascara
Pretty much what I expected for a $3.99 mascara. Ha-ha! Makes them black. That's about it. It doesn't flake or rub off, which is a bonus. I'd place it up there with the classic Maybelline Great Lash. You know the one, the pink tube, green lid, your first mascara ever.
I'd suggest this for wear with false lashes, it has a well spaced brush that prevents clumps, and would be ideal for darkening natural lashes and blending them into falsies.
Final verdict, forget your makeup at home? Traveling and TSA snag your makeup bag? This will work in a pinch.

I find that my issues with mascara tend to be that they make my eyes so itchy. General store brand ones are just awful, and I end up literally picking the mascara, and my eyelashes, off in an effort to end the itching. Two brands that don't do this are at opposite ends of the price spectrum - Esteee Lauder and Avon. Right now I use the Avon SuperShock mascara, which you can pick up anywhere from $4.99 to $9.99 depending on what catalog you order from. I tend to stock up when I see the $4.99 price. It really builds up my lashes too, so it works well also.
