There are people out there who don't know how to, or even to, clean their makeup brushes. This is just a quick video showing you how I clean my makeup brushes.
I do this every couple weeks, getting all the makeup and bacteria off my brushes.
Top Tips:
Lay your brushes flat - keeping brushes upright in a jar is fine when they are dry, but when they are still wet water can get into the ferrule (the metal part of the brush where the bristles meet the handle). This will ruin your brushes, breaking down the glue, having the brush separate from the handle.
Sanitize - using alcohol or a cleanser with sanitizing agents in it will prevent bacteria from growing in your brushes, and going onto your face.
Cleanse Often - Even if it's just a spot clean with alcohol or brush cleanser, cleaning will help prolong the life of your brushes and keep bacteria from growing on your tools and transferring to your face.
I hope this helps!

Boxing Day Old Navy Haul
On boxing day, Old Navy Canada had a sale and free shipping. Well I couldn't pass that up! I had a cart made from a few weeks back, and it remembered! Crazy! I didn't even have an account. (I can't be the only one who fills up carts with stuff you're never going to buy...).
I went with the free shipping that took a couple weeks, it came yesterday and I picked it up from the post office today. I almost didn't even get it, my ID is still from Alberta, and they wanted something with my current address. Luckily I could bring up my phone bill on my blackberry and that was good enough for her!

Playing With Makeup - January 8, 2011
I was torn... Play with makeup or play the sims... well I have the sims running in the background just in case, but makeup totally won.
Here's what I came up with tonight. I did the first one with what I had on in the day, just brows and mascara, so there's no foundation and you can see how awesome my skin is right now. :( The second one I did full face makeup, mostly because I want to back-to-mac my studio tech foundation and I have just a little left over. It's way to heavy and sitts in my pores.
More pictures after the jump...

World Aids Day - December 1st
Hey everyone, so I made this big long video talking about Make Up For Ever and what I thought of the brand as a whole and my damn video's audio is all messed up, that drives me nuts, so I'm not going to be putting that up.
Instead I wanted to talk about how today is world aids day. Becoming more aware of the disease is a HUGE step in direction for a cure. HIV and AIDS can effect anyone, no matter age, race, gender, sexual orientation or where they live.
Purchase a MAC Viva Glam lipstick (the colours rock!!), donate to a local charity, or volunteer your time.

AIDS in Canada
- An estimated 58,000 people had HIV/AIDS in 2006.
- Every two hours, someone in the country becomes infected with HIV.
- More than 27 per cent of infected people don't know they have HIV.
- Women now account for one-fifth of people with HIV/AIDS, up from one-10th in 1995.
Protect yourself, get tested if you're sexually active, and be aware.
