We went out today to do some errands and see the cherry blossoms, so I felt compelled to wear bright springy-summery eyes. Going back to my roots, the reason I started to love makeup. BRIGHT COLOURS!!!

The person I'm still close with and I've known for the longest would probably have to be my homie Moo (that would be her nickname, but I seem to be the only one who still calls her that). We met in high school, when I was in Grade 9, and she was still in Grade 8.

In fact we've been friends so long the only picture I currently have where we're both in it is from like 2001, Enjoy.

Humidity and Frizzy Hair?! Oh my...

It seems it may officially be spring time here in the lovely greater Vancouver area... oh how do I know? It's been raining for 5 days...
Not that I'm complaining, I mean Edmonton is currently a toasty 0 Degrees Celsius (not really too bad for this time of year, ha-ha).

With rain comes humidity, I'm loving it on my skin, but my hair... not so much love...



I love big hair as much as the next girl, but this is redic!

Business Card Fail

At work, word has spread I have a beauty blog, and I get asked often what the URL is. So I figured, I have some left over Card Paper, I should make some cards up. It's the  kind of paper where you can use Publisher or Word to create your own business cards. I carry some old ones with my Alberta phone number on it still in my purse, I figured this would be an easy task, right?

I'm heading down to the theatre to do a fitting for the ugly pants I made this weekend. We're doing Amadaus, so it's period clothing, hence why they're so ugly. I'll share pictures when They're done.

Here's my Face Of The Day. I've been really into browns lately so I did a simply brown wash with minor crease definition, and a pinky lip.

One of my recent purchases from Sephora was the Only Gold For Me Top Coat by Sephora by OPI. It's pretty sparse, with mutli sized gold glitter in a gelly clear top coat.

I wanted a good glitter pay off but I won't get my ideal from this polish. I'm going to try it over a gold polish to avoid seeing any of my natural nail underneath.

Japanese Black Biore Nose Strips - A Review

I've had quite the adventurous weekend so far with my BFF in town. We stopped at a T&T Supermarket on our way back to my house and picked up a bunch of candy (pocky and such), I grabbed a box of Japanese Black Biore Nose Strips on my way out.

I heard good things about this, like that they worked better than the typical North American ones, so I had to give them a try.


I got 10 strips in a pack for $11.99, which I don't think isn't too bad. A little more than a dollar a piece.

Haul Preview

Sorry there was no post yesterday! My BFF flew in from Edmonton for this weekend and we've been busy shopping. I'm hoping  to record a haul video to share with everyone.
